He was born March 30, 1941 in Crandon, WI to Philip and Cecilia (Seymour) Sheldon. He later married Carole Hupf on October 30, 1961 in Crandon. He enjoyed spending time with his family, kids, and grandkids. He also loved woodworking, hunting, fishing, and fourwheeling. He retired from J.I. Case after 31 years as a Journeymen mechanic. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Carole, daughter Barbara Sheldon, Franksville, WI; son Grant (Peggy) Sheldon, Jr., Franksville, WI; two grandchildren Grant III and Grace Sheldon; sisters Joyce Bailey, Wakefield, MI and Patricia (Robert) Roberts, Long Lake, WI; brothers Lyle Sheldon, Crandon, WI; Vernon (Doreen) Sheldon, Crandon, WI; Bruce (Shirley) Sheldon, Rhinelander, WI; and Philip (Lawanna) Sheldon, Jr., Rhinelander, WI. He is further survived by many special nieces and nephews. Grant was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Robyn; sisters Ila Mae Campbell and June Mulvihill; and brother Gayle.
