Name: Bernard Kevilus Date: July 10th, 1920 - July 25th, 2009 Obituary: Bernard F. Kevilus, age 89, of Argonne, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 25, 2009 in the loving care of Donna and Rick Dachelet, where he resided for the past 4 1/2 years. He was born in Laona, Wisconsin on July 10, 1920 to Frank and Eva Kevilus. He resided in Laona through his childhood years and moved to Argonne after marrying his wife, Betty Thomaschefsky on March 15, 1947. Together they had and raised seven children. Bernard logged and farmed his whole life. He retired from farming in 1995. He enjoyed gardening for several years after his retirement. After moving in to his daughter, Donnas’ home in 2005 he enjoyed his new hobbies of fishing, wildlife watching, reading and giving advice on how to grow a great garden. This past April he traveled out west to see the beauty of South Dakota, Montana and Wyoming with his daughter, Donna and her family. He will be greatly missed by everyone that knew the man with the greatest smile in the whole world! He is survived by: Sisters: Anne Kevilus and Agnes Jordan, Chicago, IL Daughters: Donna (Rick) Dachelet, Argonne Diane (Ron) Kalkofen, Goodman Dorothy Kevilus, Crandon Sons: James Kevilus, Crandon Gary Kevilus, Crandon Ronald (Anita) Kevilus,. Argonne William Kevilus, Abbotsford, WI 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren He is preceded in death by his wife, Betty in 2001. He is further preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, John, Paul, Peter, Charlie & Frankie; one sister, Ellen and one great grandson, Joshua. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 29 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Weber-Hill Funeral Home, Crandon. Funeral service will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Farr officiating. Interment will be at the Argonne Cemetery.
